It's Ok Thursday!

I Can't believe it is Thursday already! Where does the time go?

Shall we get started?

* It's ok that I can NOT start my day without coffee! I mean literally I have to have my coffee..

* It's ok that I went out for dinner and drinks with a my very good friend Todd last night and had a blast! He is always telling me how HOT I am and how much he misses me!! He is so good for my EGO! I have to be honest I LOVE IT! lol...

* It's ok that I am so excited for my new blog look! Thank you Jen for spending so much time on it for me and making it look awesome..

* It's ok that I love all my blog friends but there are three that stand out to me as being such amazing people and I just love corresponding with them! Laura, Becky and Annabelle you guys ROCK!!!

* It's ok that I think my good friends might be a little jealous of my blog friends! lol.. They love to give me shit about being a blogger! I guess if you don't blog you don't understand!

* It's ok that my family is leaving today for a 3 day camping trip without me! I am going to be so lonely!

Three day weekend!

Three day weekends are the bomb! We had so much fun just hanging out with friends all weekend.. Our weekend started off with Saturday having our friends over for a barbecue! The weather was in the 80's but very windy. We ate, drank and was very merry! Everyone dared me to go skinny dipping in the pool but I didn't have enough to drink to take that dare! lol.. Maybe next time NOT!!!!!

Sunday went to a party at Chuck E. Cheese's. Our friend Jenn's little girl turned 4. Isn't she adorable?

And Of course I wouldn't leave without giving our little Chuck E a great big hug!!!

Sunday we just hung out and did some yard work. Got sun burned in the pool and had some dear friends over for drinks and dinner! Oh how I wish every weekend was a three day weekend!!!

OK as the old saying goes " Better late than never"

Thank God it's Friday....

I am so excited for the weekend! We are having our dear friends over for a barbecue and it seems like it's been forever since we have been able to all be together at the same time! The weather is suppose to be in the 80's and hopefully not too windy!

So that is my Saturday. Sunday we get to go to our friends little girl's birthday party! Some of you probably know my friend Jen she is a blogger herself! You should go check her out over at Everythingaccordingtojen.com she is so awesome and has the cutest blog..

Then after Jen's party we get to go to yet another birthday party. My Nephew turns 18!! Party,Party,Party..

Monday is a Holiday and my husband and I are off! We are planning on taking a drive up to the mountains to look for another good camping spot! I am so excited for a nice drive and a good lunch! With hopefully NO KIDS!!

Well that pretty much sums up my weekend! What's on your agenda?

It's ok Thursday

I can't believe it is Thursday already and I'm just one day away from a 3 day weekend!! YEAH..

So shall we start?

It's ok..

* That it is official that as of yesterday I have two kids in high school! Wow where did the time go? I am so Proud of my daughter she is a straight A Student and has a heart of GOLD! She is the type of girl who won't let anyone eat by them selves in the lunch room!

* That I was jamming out to the commodores this morning and decided I want to be a brick house!! I want to be mighty mighty and let it all hang out lol..

* That for the first time in 7 years I had to miss watching the Thunder Birds fly after the Air Force graduation! They are so amazing to watch!

* That my husband is going to see Van Halen in concert tonight without me! He deserves a night out. He works so hard to provide for us it's not even funny! I hope he has a blast but still misses me a little..

* That our home didn't appraise for what we were hoping for but we are still going to be able to re finance and save some money! That is if I quite shopping.

That's all I got for now guy's! Have to go meet a good friend for lunch..



Monday's Hurt!

Oh how I hate Mondays!! Specially since I really didn't have much of a weekend! I was sick all weekend! Still not feeling 100% and don't have much of a voice which is nice being that I answer phone calls for a living! lol Yeah it going to be one of those Monday's for me! I feel just like the way that baby looks. UGH!!!

Book Club Friends!

What a great day yesterday was. After work we went to our son's girlfriends Graduation party and he gave her the Promise ring! Wow she was shocked.. I was shocked to find out the girl's ring size is 3 1/2! Now that is SMALL! We will be having it re sized today! They are happy campers!!

Then off to Book Club! Oh my gosh I have the best group a friends a girl could ask for! We had a total blast! The only problem is we never talked about the book! lol.. I told my friends that next month I'm putting my foot down and making sure we discuss the book before getting all crazy!

We'll almost another week down the drain. But it's ok because it is " It's Ok Thursday..

It's ok

* That as stated in my last post that our 17 year old Son wants to propose to his girlfriend! NO that is NOT OK but it is ok that I talked him into a Promise Ring..

* It's ok that I talked to a dear friend this morning that I haven't talked to in a week and wanted to update her on the Josh thing and she said she already new! "I said how did you know" she said " I read your blog" lol lol the funny thing is she doesn't even have a blog... Now that's a good friend.

* It's ok that my friend Jen came over last night to drink wine and to make PENIS COOKIES for our book club! We are reading the 50 Shades Of Grey trilogy! Need I say more?

We Made this one for our girlfriend because it is her Birthday!!



* It's ok that I am going to miss our first camping trip of the summer because I chose to go with my friends to the wine festival! Hubby understands and will have fun without me for one camping trip!

No Wonder my hair is getting GREY

Ok guys I really really need to VENT!!! To make a long story short our 17 year old wants to propose to his girlfriend! Yeah I said 17 years old!!!!! I know what you all are thinking! No she is not pregnant! He is in love.. Yeah whatever! Don't get me wrong I love her to death but the two of them are just too dam young to even think about getting married! (she is 18) So I convinced him into getting her a promise ring and offered to take him and even help pay for the dam ring! He loved the idea!! Here is the problem I have a coupon for 30% off which expires tomorrow and I can't go tomorrow so I want to go today! Josh has plans today and tomorrow would be better for him! Hello... I'm doing him the favor and not the other way around right?? Needless to say I got pissed and told him he can do this without my help! Just another reminder of what it takes to be a parent.. God help me..



It's Ok Thursday!

* It's ok that I totally thought today was Friday! Talk about a shocker when I found out it was only Thursday. The only good thing about that is I didn't miss this link up!

* It's ok that we put our pool up last Saturday because it was in the mid 80's then snowed on Monday! I was freaking out that the pump was going to freeze! It didn't so it is ok.. That's Colorado for you!!

* It's ok that I haven't seen my Best Friends in weeks! I was able to have lunch with my soul sister Amy yesterday!

 and tomorrow night dinner and drinks with my other home girl Lynne! I can't wait..

* It's ok that my daughter didn't make the Pom squad! Life is full of disappointment's! It's all part of growing up...

* It's ok that I'm suppose to be living on a budget but bought more concert tickets! I'm now going to see Nickelback, One Direction  (bought for my daughter) and the latest concert is Train at Red Rocks! Red Rocks is the most amazing place to go to a concert! It's this big out door venue literally in a rock cave!

* It's ok that my husband planned this wonderful trip up to the mountains this weekend to scope out new camping spots for us and the weather forecast is SNOW!!! I am so over the snow I just want to SCREAM..... I told him we will have a good time no matter what the weather forecast is..

Pom tryouts!

I wanted to Thank all of you wonderful friends for sending good thoughts and prayers out for my daughter making the Pom squad! Unfortunately she didn't make it! Yes she was very disappointed but cheered up after I explained to her that now she can try out for the Volley Ball and Tennis team! Thanks again guys! You all ROCK!!

Yeah it's Friday already! Talk about the week flying by! I am so nervous for my daughter today!! Today is her tryouts for high school Poms! She wants to make it so bad. I don't want you see the disappointment in her face if she doesn't. I have been praying all morning that she makes it! She has been practicing and practicing all week long who ever reads this please either say a small prayer or keep your fingers crossed for her! She may not be the best dancer but she does have a lot of heart and dedication when it comes to stuff like this! Thanks guys now let's all have a wonderful weekend!

 

I can't get over how fast this week went! I'm all ready for my favorite link up!

* It's ok that my daughter came home from school on Tues and manage to blow up yet another phone! What the Hell?? I was so mad! That girl has gone through 3 phones to my one!! Because of the mom that I am the friends that I have I was able to get her the I Phone 4 for only $100.00 in perfect condition. Thanks Jen... BriAnna is so excited. She doesn't know I did it more for me! I've been going crazy these last two days knowing that I couldn't get a hold my daughter if I needed to. It made me think how did my parents do it? Cell phone really didn't exist when I was her age!

* It's ok that I have two choices tonight to go home and work out or meet my dear friend for beers??? Hum easy decision I'm meeting Judi for beers! Sorry scale......

* It's ok that I RSVP for a Cinco De Mayo party this weekend and I'm thinking about not going! I really just want to stay home and do some yard work with the hubby! I know me though and I will end up going!

* It's ok that I tried to talk my husband into buying a silver lab this week! Someone was selling them at walmart and I wanted her soooo bad! We already have 3 so 4 would probably put me in the Looney Bin! Thanks Steve for saving my ass on that one!
