Random Shit.....

So Happy almost 4th of July everyone!! This us usually my favorite holiday but with all the fires going on in our State they have made all fireworks illegal! As a matter of fact most of the firework displays have been canceled! Very understandable but still puts a big ass damper on the Holiday.. Lucky me because I was actually going to try this! lol...

I am so sick and tired of my auto correct on my phone! I would turn it off but my spelling is so bad that might actually be worse!!

Funny and a true story! So my husband hired this new guy over the phone. His name is Matt and I have been drooling over him since yesterday! He looks just like Ashton Kutcher!

I mean JUST LIKE HIM!! Anyway we had this guy come in to fill out an application this morning( he was HOT too) and as he was filling out his application I was telling my friend Jen (She hadn't met Matt yet) how HOT Matt was and how I couldn't get over him being so Beautiful.. I was telling her how I set it up so he had to come back into the office so she could see him! I went on and on and on... After about 20 minutes of me telling her how amazing this guy was the guy filling out the application handed it to me and left! I gave it to Jen and continued with my lusting! Jen looks at me with tears in her eyes laughing so hard! I said "what the hell are you laughing at?" She said " That guy that was filling out the application is MATT'S BROTHER!!" Oh my gosh I just wanted to DIE!!! I'm pretty sure he heard EVERYTHING! Why me????

So I am now Tweeting and I have no idea what I am doing so If any of you want to follow me on Twitter to laugh at my ass your more than welcome!!! I will figure out how to put it on my blog someday real soon! As always thanks for reading guys! Hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday!

Fire,Fire and more Fire!

Wow this is weird doing a post on Thursday that has nothing to do with " It's ok Thursday." Life has been so crazy for me these last few weeks it's not even funny! First off I want to thank all of my blog friends for noticing I have not been blogging in awhile! I can't even begin to tell you all how good it makes me feel that you guy's noticed! That is so Freakin awesome!

  There are no words to describe the feeling of seeing the city you've grown up in your whole life literally up in flames! So far the Colorado Springs fire has burned over 18,500 acres and has burned  346 homes! The fire is still only 10% Contained with record setting temptures and high winds off and on daily! Yesterday we were put on a Pre-Evacuation and got all of our pictures and important papers packed and ready to go for just in case we need to leave! Please pray for our fire fighters that they get this massive fire out and that they all come home to their families at the end of the day!

I think this one is one of my favorites!

I'm Back.....

Wow has it been a long two weeks or what? To be honest it feels like it has been much longer than two weeks since I have found time to do a post! So let me feel you in on why I have dropped off the face of the blog world for awhile. As you all know from my last post I work for a roofing company. Well 2 weeks ago we got hit with one of the biggest hail storms in the last 100 years! Needless to say it is insane at my work! I get home and I am pretty much dead to the world. Here are a few pictures of the storm. We had golf ball and soft ball size hail in a huge part of our city!

We can't forget our Nickelback concert! We manage to get front row and it was amazing!

We met some really cool people at the concert! They were fun!

Then Wednesday night my Friend and I took my son and his girlfriend out for a photo shoot! The pictures turned out amazing!!

I insisted on being in at least one of them! lol...

Then Friday night my friend Jen asked me if I wanted to go see Haley Reinhart from Last years American Idol with her! We manged to get back stage passes to meet her and JohnJay and rich who are some pretty famous dis jockeys from  a radio station we listen to! It was a blast!

I really hate to end this blog on a sad note but I have no other choice. Saturday afternoon a fire started very close to our home! It is so depressing to see our mountains up in flames! Colorado has 8 major fires going now at one time and we are in the middle of a major water drought. Half of our beautiful state is literally up in flames! The fire that started yesterday is about 15 miles from our home and the smoke is unbelievable! We are starting to see the ash fall from the sky and my heart just breaks. I don't think I have ever seen anything like it in my life!

Please Pray for all the fire fighters, Wild life and all the homes that are in the path of this horrible fire!

I'm Hispanic and damn Proud!

So this is how the story goes!
I work for a roofing company and a little bit ago I get a call from a customer wanting me to set her up for a roof estimate! Here is the conversation.

Me.. How can I help you?

Her.. I would like a estimate for a new roof.

Me.. Sure no problem let me just get some information from you.

Her..OK but first I have a few questions for you. How long have you been in business? How fast can you get someone out to my house? And  your roofers aren't Mexican are they cause those Mexicans can't speak a word of English!!

Me.. Well mam yes they are Mexicans and they do speak English and they are very good at what they do! They have worked for our company for several years and no the In's and outs of roofing! Can I set you up with and estimate?

Little did the lady know she was speaking to a Mexican and one that is damn proud of it! I can't get over the arrogance of people!  Right away I thought of driving to work this morning and what was playing on my radio which makes this story even more perfect!

Bib And All!

OK so I have to admit this is a bit embarrassing! I wanted to do a post today and wasn't sure what to post about so this is what I came up with!  Pretty epic picture huh! This was taken last year when we took a family vacation to Cape Code to stay with some very dear friends! They asked me what we felt like for dinner and I could not express to them enough how much I LOVE LOBSTER!! I think they finally got the picture! I'm not sure what is more embarrassing the picture of me digging in or the part where both of us are wearing our bibs! Thank God for good friends who you can be yourself with while eating out! lol lol...

Mondays are Rough!

Well I made it through the week/weekend without my family! I wasn't as lonely as I thought I was going to be! Which is a good thing. Thursday night a dear friend called me and invited me over for a barbecue she was having for her Granddaughter. I had a blast.

Friday came and went' so fast! I worked all day then went home and cleaned house! It is usually a group effort but with the Family being out of town I thought I would get it all done so we didn't have to do it Sunday! After the house was all cleaned I put in a movie and finally enjoyed some peace and quiet!

Saturday was so much fun! Me and my home girls headed to the wine festival! It was my first time and defiantly won't be my last. It was a blast.



We all got hungry so we headed out to the " Loop" which is a Mexican restaurant with the most amazing Margaritas!  I should have stopped at ONE Margarita but insisted on TWO! I won't go into the scary details...

Sunday came and went in the blink of an eye! We just hung out and watched movies all day! Talk about a fun weekend!

* Dear social life.. You make it so hard for me to stay on my diet! I do so good until you make me go out for dinner and drinks which makes it IMPOSSIBLE for me to stay within my 1,200 calories a day!

* Dear Diet.. You suck! Why can't I be one of those people who don't have to have you in their life? I will hate you forever!

Dear Wine Festival.. I am looking so forward to hanging out with you tomorrow. Please take it easy on me and make sure I don't have too much fun. The older I get the harder the hangovers.

Dear Steve (husband)..  I hope you and the kids are having fun camping and I'm sorry I couldn't come this time! I promise I will make the next camping trip.

Dear Greeley (Our Yorkie)..  You are skating on thin ice girl! Between not being able to get you potty trained, your annoying barking all the time and you escaping from the yard this morning Mommy is ready to strangle you!

Dear Life.. Although I am constantly moaning and groaning about all the shit I have to put up with I truly do love you!
