It's ok Thursday!

Holy smokes I can't believe it's already Thursday! I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not! Well like the old saying goes " It is, what it is" So shall we begin?

It's ok...  That on my ladies night out last Friday night I got hit on by a 21 year old! No kidding laddies! This 21 year asked me to dance and couldn't stop telling how HOT I was and was asking me to go to a party with him! I had to set him straight and let him know that not only am I a happily married woman but OLD ENOUGH TO BE HIS MOTHER!

It's ok... That I almost beat the shit out of this guy who would not take his hands off my very intoxicated cousin (one on the right)! That's what happens when you give some of us Mexican's too much alcohol some of us think we can beat ANYONE up lol... despite the hangover we really did have a good time!

It's ok... That for the last 11 years my Best Friend and I have gone shopping on Black Friday and this year we invited our girls! They are so excited that we are including them!

It's ok... That I  look forward to going home everyday just to see our lab's looking out the window for us! I love them so much!

It's ok... That I'm not looking forward to the holidays like most people!

It's ok... That I sometimes hate people. Thanks to my JOB!

It's ok... That I can't wait to go see The Twilight Saga this Sunday.

It's ok... That I'm all out of It's ok's....

The Holidays!

Wow! I can't believe Thanksgiving in only a week away! It's so hard to read everyone blogs at how happy they are that the holidays are here when in all honesty I dread the holidays! It all started two years ago when my Mother found out that my Father had several affairs on her when my sister and I were much younger! He had kept this secret from her for 42 years until two years ago when he told her!  I have never had a very good relationship with my Father growing up for so many reasons but have always tolerated him for the sake of my Mother! Needless to say finding out about the affairs did me in! My Mother divorced my Father two years ago and moved in with me and my family for a year! For reasons I will NEVER understand she took him back a year ago! They have not re-married and is not planning on it as far as I know!

I have so much discuss, anger and hurt feeling for both my parents! How could my Mother take him back when I did so much to help her? My Father is a man that has so many issues with alcohol, mental illness and has done so much wrong in his life it's not even funny! I know that we are supposed to forgive just as God has forgiven us for all our sins and I have forgiven my Father but that doesn't mean I have forgotten! It is going to be so hard to have both my parents over for the holidays and pretend that we are all one big happy family when in all honesty just looking at him makes me sick! I feel so much shame inside for feeling the way I do towards him and pray everyday that someday God will give me peace with the decision that my Mother has made. Until then I can't wait for the holidays to be over!

It's ok... That I am totally excited for tomorrow night! My girlfriends and I are actually having a ladies night out! It has been so long since we have had the opportunity to all go out together! We are doing Dinner, Comedy Corner then Back East! Back East is a bar that has some really awesome cover bands that play on the weekends. I hope I behave myself lol..

We all can get a little crazy!

It's ok... That I am really looking forward to getting some normality back into my life. Ever since my nephew was discharged from the hospital he has been living with us until his house is remodeled to accommodate him and his wheel chair. I love him so much and would do anything for him and for my sister!

It's ok... That I have been questioning life ever since Tyler's accident! It just seems so unfair for an 18 year old to have to spend the rest of his life in a chair. I know things happen for a reason and God won't let any of us take on more than we can handle but that doesn't help me continue to ask " Why"? Please forgive me God for Questioning you and for Questioning our purpose in life!

And last but Not Least It's ok... That I feel like I'm in my 20's again every time I drive my car! I  love my Mustang so much and will never own anything other than a sports car again NO MATTER HOW OLD I AM!!

Election Night!

So while the nation was watching the election on T.V last night I decided to pour myself not one, not two but three glasses of wine! After several glasses of wine and the feeling that no one is really going to win with this election I decided to venture off onto Pinterest! This is what I came up with and boy did it make my night!

Happy Anniversary to me!

To many people this is Election Day! To me it's something way more. 20 years ago today Steve asked me to marry him and spend the rest of our lives together! We have been through so much together it's not even funny. Let me tell you friends marriage is one of the hardiest yet most rewarding things you will ever go through in your life! I would be a liar if I told you its been a walk in the park! In all reality there has been days that I didn't think our marriage was going to make it! Steve may or may not be my soul mate but he is the love of my life and I took a vowel to love him for better or for worse and I will do everything in my power to do just that! Happy (sort of) Anniversary baby!

Weekend Update!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was pretty mellow which is exactly what the Dr. ordered.

Friday... We went to dinner and a movie with some very dear friends! Dinner was awesome and the movie was great! I highly recommend you go see Sinister it was so freaky! Right up my alley.

Saturday... Woke up and did some cleaning. Steve and I actually went out to lunch by ourselves which hasn't happened in I don't know how long! It was so nice to be just the two of us for once! After lunch we went grocery shopping then home to watch movies! We had a full house again! Tyler's girlfriend came up and our son Joshua's girlfriend was there too! We all popped popcorn and watched movies it was actually pretty fun!

Sunday... We did absolutely nothing but watch football and drink beer ( I was drinking the beer my husband doesn't drink) My Broncos won again so it was a good day! See I told you it was a pretty mellow weekend! Hope I didn't bore you guys to death! Next weekend update will be much better because me and my girlfriends are having a ladies night out and I CAN'T WAIT!

It's ok... That my daughter is totally obsessed with One Direction so I bought us tickets for the concert and yesterday she asked me if I minded not going with her and letting my nephew Tyler take her instead! Apparently they can get front row because he is handicap and needs wheel chair accessibility !! LMAO...... He said he would love to take her! Hello I just got dumped by my own daughter! lol lol... 

It's ok...  That I am so done with the election! I don't give a shit who wins I just want it OVER!

It's ok... That I am so excited for tomorrow night! We are going to dinner and a movie with some very dear friends that we have not hung out with for a while! BJ's for dinner and going to see the movie Sinister with Ethan Hawke! I love me some Ethan Hawke!

It's ok... That I truly feel like this most days! Our Customers can be such ASS HOLES!

It's ok... That we all went and got tattoos yesterday in honor of my nephew! We all got Strength and Courage and they turned out awesome
