Thank God It's FRIDAY!!!

Boy did I need this " It's Ok Thursday"

Finally it's Thursday! Talk about a long and rough week I wasn't sure I was going to make it but looks like I'm over the hump!

So Shall we begin with our it's ok!!!

It's OK...

* That I have not posted on my blog since last Friday! Like I said it has been a really rough week and I didn't have any desire to do ANYTHING!

* That because of the slight depression I was experiencing My Best Friend and I went shopping! I broke down and bought me not one but two pairs of Miss Me jeans from the Buckle!

Oh I Love Them!

*It's ok that I have two tickets for a concert tonight and my husband doesn't want to go so my girlfriend is going with me instead!

*It's ok that my girls think they own our couch!

*It's ok that the book I'm ready for our book club is totally turning me on!! Oh my gosh ladies if you want to read a Hot Steamy book I would highly recommend "50 Shades of Grey"

*It's ok that I cannot function without my morning coffee and my daily Diet Coke's! Notice there is a S behind Coke!

*It is totally ok to have those down weeks as long as you pick yourself back up and remember how blessed you truly are!

It's Ok Thursday!



Wow It's Thursday Already..

* It's ok that I am way more excited than my daughter to go see the Hunger Games this weekend!

* It's ok that I am still really sore from running my 5K last weekend. It was so worth it!

*It's ok that my toe nail polish never matches my finger nail polish. I change my finger nail polish at least twice a week and painting my toes is a pain!

*It's ok that I have dozens of different colors of nail polish but still keep buying more and more! It's one of my obsessions!

* It's ok that I am putting my foot down and making our 17 year old son get a J O B!!! Between filling up his gas tank, giving him spending money, buying his girlfriend her birthday present (which wasn't cheep) and taking her to her senior prom he is KILLING ME!!!

*It's ok that now with the weather getting so nice I am starting to miss the hell out of my Jeep. I loved taking the top off all summer and feeling the wind in my hair!

* It's ok that I am really enjoying meeting so many people through my blog and starting to feel like I could actually call some of them friends!

WOW TWO POSTS IN ONE DAY!

Sorry guys's but I had to post one more thing! Ok Yes I am a big fan of Pretty little liars!

So last night we were suppose to find out who "A" is right! Well We still don't know! Yes they reviled Mona as "A" but looks like she has other people in her life pushing her to pretend to be "A" or is "A"?? What the heck?? I guess they had to do something like that in order to keep the show going huh! I was just excited to finally know who "A" is once and for all! Just Saying...

Another great weekend!

Boy what a great weekend! Friday night took Josh out for dinner for his birthday. It turned out to be a $100.00 dinner and I didn't enjoy one bite! Don't you hate it when you spend your hard earned money on dinner and don't enjoy it? Well Josh enjoyed it and I guess that's all that matters being that is was his Birthday!

Saturday was the big day! My 5K!! I was so nervous because all my friends actually trained for it and of course I did not run one day before the event. We all met at my girlfriends house so we could go together.

Then off to down town. Thank God the weather was perfect! It was in the low 70's!

I Call This One Ready, Set, Go!

I was so proud of myself. I actually did it. Almost ran the whole way! Ran it in 37 min which I thought was pretty good. Me and my friends all held hands and went through the finish line together! I know that sounds kind of corny but I get that way with my family and friends!

My hubby is not a runner but he came to support me and to hang with the gang for the after party!

We all went to Old Chicago's for some pizza and Green beer and boy did we have fun!!

We were all suppose to go hiking Sunday morning but I was so sore I could hardly walk! That's what I get for not training for the 5K! So they all went without me!

Family came back from their hike and we all hung out and watched some movies! The end to what I would consider a PERFECT WEEKEND!

The Weekend is almost here!



Happy Almost St Patrick's Day!

St Patrick's Day has always been a very special day for me. Not because of it being St Patrick's Day but because it is the day my oldest Son was born! Tomorrow will be 17 years that God gave me one of the biggest blessings a person can ask for! A beautiful healthy baby boy! For those of you who have young children hold them tight and make every moment count because before you know it they are all grown up and those moments turn into the most amazing memories!

It's ok..

That that I still have not had my oil change in my car. This weekend for sure.

That I am running a 5K this Sat and have not trained once! My frineds are going to kick my butt.

I have book club tonight and for the first time I have not read the entire book! I'm half way.

That I'm broke all the time. It's going to pick up at work soon I can feel it.

That I'm always the life of the party and my husband HATES to party! Opposites really do attract.

1. If you could travel anywhere in the world on a 2 week vacation... Where would you go?

That is a hard one! I would have to say Spain. I am part Spanish and would love to see some of my culture!

2. If you suddenly got a check for $1000 what would you spend it on?

Now that is an easy one! I would go out and buy me a whole new wardrobe! I have a closet full of clothes but seem to ware the same things week after week.

3. Do you have a celebrity Crush? Who?

Yes and that would be Johnny Depp! I love me some Johnny.

4. What is your favorite thing to do on a weekend?

Well now that depends. If it's in the winter I love to go out to dinner and a movie! If it's in the summer I love to have our friends over and hang out on the deck with food and drinks! I just love to entertain!!

5. If you could have a career in any field... what would you love to do?

If I were to be able to go back in time and pick any career I would for sure be a photographer! I just love taking pictures of EVERYTHING!!

6. What is your favorite musical artist?

Ok I love ALL kinds of music. For example I have everything from country, to hip hop, to rock and roll on my I Pod. I love classic rock and mild rock! No Heavy Metal EVER! I specially love Sugarland and Christina Aguilera.

7. What is your favorite spot or activity when you need to relax?

Again if it's in the summer I love to read my nook on the deck and admire all my humming birds! I put feeders all over my deck and they come in swarms! I just love them. In the winter I enjoy reading and watching T.V by the fire.

8. Dog person or cat person? Or neither?

Dog person all the way!!

9. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I am in a part of my life where I have never been Happier! I have the perfect job, The most amazing family and friends and live in the house that my husband and I want to retire in. So I see myself right where I am today!

That's a hard one I have so many! If I had to choose they would be

11. If you could live in any time in history... When?

I would have loved to have grown up in the 1930's/1940's. Great music and everything seemed more simpler than it is today!
