Life's ups and Life's downs.

So weekend started off to a great start! Had a wonderful date night with my husband Friday night then got tons of stuff done around the house the rest of the weekend! Sunday we got the family together to split wood!

As my daughter and I are stacking the wood I had a total flash back of when I was her age and split wood with my parents! God how time flies. We had so much fun laughing and enjoying the beautiful weather while breaking a sweat!

Then Monday came!! What could go wrong DID!! Work is a mad house. My car ended up in the shop needing new tires and possibly a new fuel system!

Then towards the end of the day I get a phone call that our Son was in a car accident!

 The first thing that goes through your mind is " Oh my God is he ok?" Thank God he is fine. It was just a little fender bender! The second thing that goes through you mind is " Who's fault was it?" Well our son got the ticket! He was making a right hand turn on a red light and the other car decided at the last minute to turn left instead of going straight so they hit each other!

So I come home as depressed as can be because of the car repairs to my car, the car repairs to his car and wondering how the hell we are going to be able to afford car insurance for him now! Then I realized that all these things are so minor compared to so many other things that could have gone wrong! Thank God my Son is ok, Thank God I have a beautiful car to begin with and Thank God we all have our health! It's sometimes hard to see all the blessings you have in life when so much goes wrong all at once! Thank you God for always watching over me and for reminding me how truly blessed I really am!

It's Ok Thursday

*It's ok that it has been the longest week ever! Is it ever going to end?

* It's ok that yesterday I got into yet another fight with this Moron at work! I literally cringe when he walks into the office! I pretty much told him exactly how I felt about him and that he better keep his ass as far away from me as possible! This bitch don't take no shit!! lol lol..

* It's ok that right after my wonderful fight with the Moron one of our customers walks into my office and actually asks me " If I'm Married?" Were pretty sure he was going to ask me out! He was old enough to be MY FATHER!! AWKWARD!! Talk about a LONG ASS DAY!

Yes yesterday was one of those days... Thank God It's over already..

* It's ok that my daughter is madly in love with One Direction to the point of her becoming a stalker! lol One Direction this, One Direction that! Notice the phone case?

*It's ok that she actually sent me this picture so that I can learn their names before we go to the concert!

* It's ok that I'm actually trying to learn them..

* It's ok that I am excited to start learning how to tweet! I have a whopping 3 followers!! lol feel free to follow @monicaslife1 or not!!

* It's ok that I have not stuck to my diet or my exercise in almost a month! I will get back on the wagon soon enough!

* And last but not least it is totally ok it took almost 3 months to finally get a closing date for our Re-Finance on the house! We close tomorrow and are going to save over $400.00 a month! It's about time we catch a break..

My Amazing Daughter!

Yesterday I promised my 14 year old daughter BriAnna I would take her out to dinner and to a movie after I got off of work. She has been dying to see the 3D Katy Perry movie. We laughed all night long and had the best time ever! I can't believe what a wonderful young lady she is becoming. I enjoy my daughter more than anything in this world and as much as I hate her not being my baby girl anymore at the same time I look forward to seeing her grow and becoming not only my daughter but my very Best Friend..

The movie was awesome! I have to admit I love Katy Perry but wasn't overly excited to see the movie! To my surprise the movie was amazing and I am an even bigger Katy Perry fan! I give the movie a thumbs up! BriAnna and I will definitely be going to see her in concert if and when she ever comes to Colorado!

It's Ok Thursday

* It's ok I have not linked up for It's Ok Thursdays in three weeks! I wanted to every week but life has been so crazy for me lately I just haven't had the time!

* It's ok that I'm sitting here watching 13 going on 30 for the hundredth time! I just love this movie. I'm one of those people who can watch a movie over and over again if I really like the movie!

* It's ok that I actually thought about getting rid of my girl Greeley.. I love this dam dog so much but can't seem to get her potty trained! The reason why it's ok is because I couldn't do it! If any of you have any suggestions I'm all ears!

* It's ok that it pretty much took my 19 years of marriage to figure out that my friends shouldn't always come first! Thank God I have a husband that never took it personally and let me do my thing without holding it against me. I'm starting to see that friends come and go out of your life but family will always be there! Thank you baby for always being there!!

* It's ok that I am so excited for tomorrow! Hubby surprised me with a overnight trip to BlackHawk. BlackHawk is a neat little gambling town! I'm going to eat, drink and get my groove on with hubby! Yeah baby.. Maybe we will hit a few jack pots while we are there!

Random Shit.....

So Happy almost 4th of July everyone!! This us usually my favorite holiday but with all the fires going on in our State they have made all fireworks illegal! As a matter of fact most of the firework displays have been canceled! Very understandable but still puts a big ass damper on the Holiday.. Lucky me because I was actually going to try this! lol...

I am so sick and tired of my auto correct on my phone! I would turn it off but my spelling is so bad that might actually be worse!!

Funny and a true story! So my husband hired this new guy over the phone. His name is Matt and I have been drooling over him since yesterday! He looks just like Ashton Kutcher!

I mean JUST LIKE HIM!! Anyway we had this guy come in to fill out an application this morning( he was HOT too) and as he was filling out his application I was telling my friend Jen (She hadn't met Matt yet) how HOT Matt was and how I couldn't get over him being so Beautiful.. I was telling her how I set it up so he had to come back into the office so she could see him! I went on and on and on... After about 20 minutes of me telling her how amazing this guy was the guy filling out the application handed it to me and left! I gave it to Jen and continued with my lusting! Jen looks at me with tears in her eyes laughing so hard! I said "what the hell are you laughing at?" She said " That guy that was filling out the application is MATT'S BROTHER!!" Oh my gosh I just wanted to DIE!!! I'm pretty sure he heard EVERYTHING! Why me????
