I wanted to Thank all of you wonderful friends for sending good thoughts and prayers out for my daughter making the Pom squad! Unfortunately she didn't make it! Yes she was very disappointed but cheered up after I explained to her that now she can try out for the Volley Ball and Tennis team! Thanks again guys! You all ROCK!!
Go you, getting her excited about the next adventure! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat just means that there is another road for her to travel. You awesome for keeping her from getting discouraged and never give up!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry. It's really tough to be a mom of teenagers. Now tennis. Yes that's my thing. My husband and I both coached a high school team. I had the boys... he had the girls. He's still working with the girls. My 3 kids all played tennis and the 2 boys played in college. One of my daughter's younger friends said one time...I want to play tennis like Kai ... then I'll get to wear all those hoochy mama clothes. Funny. Yes tennis clothes are much cuter than volleyball. I think I must have spent a gazillion dollars on tennis lessons. But hey...they did get a lot of their college paid for. Of course I guess you could say I just prepaid. Let me know if I can send her anything tennisy to get her pumped.
ReplyDeleteI played volleyball my whole life, and now I coach it. Some of the best memories and great friends made during it, whatever path God gives her I'm sure will be a great one -everything happens for a reason :)
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad that she didn't make it but great now that she can try out for other teams. I am sure that she will make the team for one of those sports and do great :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck to her on her next set of tryouts. I bet she finds something wonderful!
ReplyDeletePoor thing! There are better and more amazing things waiting for her down the road! :)
